The Truth about coming home....

So it's been almost 2 years since I've lived at home. To be honest I don't feel like I'm really living here yet. It just feels like a weekend visit...but I'm sure over the next few days the reality of it all will sink in. I've already begun taking a stab at my summer goals. I've started reading a ridiculously easy to read book, I've started a scrapbook, and I have a job interview tomorrow. I'll keep you updated when I cross things off my list :)

So like I said...I have a job interview tomorrow. It's not exactly a job I want....but I need a job, so I'm still praying I get it. Although I would rather have the job at Westshore (so If you think of it...send a little prayer up there for that one). Home is just weird...I have to live by some of the rules that I had when I was a teen. Not to mention I've already been recruited for tasks such as picking my siblings up at work or driving them to school. Also, the expected attendance at Sunday night church services is something I need to get used to (although I didn't attend today because I'm not feeling that great). There are a lot of things I'm going to need to get used to about living at home....but I have a while to do get used to it.

I do however enjoy the free food (and prepared food!) and free laundry and some access to a vehicle. Those are things I can definitely get used to again :). As well as hanging out with my sister and uber fast internet service! And getting to play with my doggie!

I think this summer will go by faster then I thought...I really don't want to work, but of course I know I have to :P. I also haven't gotten used to the permanent houseguest thing....I think that will take some getting used to!

There are some things I'm really looking forward to this summer, some things to keep me occupied and busy! Less chance to think about the people and place that I miss so much already. I'm looking forward to helping out with Jr. Youth again. My mom wants to take a break from it for the summer so she volunteered me, and I think I'm excited about it! I always did love doing it in Highschool! I'm also excited to be part of the Vine. I think it will get me out to meet new people (possibly cross the "new friends" goal off the list haha!). Another thing I'm excited about is teaching Kinder-kids. I think it will be a blast! I love little kids so I think it will be fun. It's nice to be involved again. Since I don't have a home church in Hamilton, I don't get to do these things throughout the year, so I'm really looking forward to doing them this summer :). I also hope that the Library calls me for the kids programs...that would be uber cool!! But we'll see!

Other then all that, there isn't much else to say about the summer. I'm really really really looking forward to adoms cottage, getting my list of girls for next year and writing them a letter, Tom and Melissa's wedding, My Birthday, Camping with the dorms, Leah and Joels wedding, and RA training week. As well as little get togethers with old friends and RUC friends :).

Well...Those are my thoughts for today. So ends my first weekend at home....by my calculations...I think I only have about 16 more :p.

Peace my friends. xox.
