More Summer Updates :)

At times, I will admit...I am uncontrollably LAME. But, I also sometimes don't mind too much. That's not what I'm here to write about though.

We're a month into summer. Already it has FLOWN by. I'm loving it, I had so many doubts coming home for the summer, but they are all gone now, and I'm just completely enjoying everything about the summer, besides of course my occasional longing for my dorm :(

This weekend was awesome, minus the fact that today I had a disgustingly huge migraine all day :S. Other then that...it was a great weekend. On friday Kim came over, and we hung out, talked, ate junk food, and played hours of rock band :P. Then on Saturday...well Saturday I traveled all over the country, at least it felt like it! Let's just say I went to Mississauga, Square one, back home, Bowmanville, Leah's shower, Kristins, Al's, the Movies in Bowmanville, and Back to Port Perry. A very eventful day to say the least. By the end of it I collapsed in bed and fell into a very very nice deep sleep :)

This summer is a blast so far, but I'm still really looking forward to being an RA. I check the mail everyday waiting for my RA stuff to arrive. LAME, I know haha. And although I'm really looking forward to Year Three, there's still a TON of stuff I'm looking forward to about the rest of the summer! Just to name a few, Adom's Cottage, Melissa's Wedding, My Cottage/Birthday, Leah's Wedding, The Vine, etc.

Also, I've achieved (and failed) some more of my goals for the summer!! There was one about going to my cottage once a month at least, but due to the fact that I've been working most weekends, I was able to go in May :( So I'm going to change that goal a bit haha.

Here's the Rundown.
Achieved:
-GOT A JOB! :) lol yay!
-Do something Artistic (I made a scrapbook!)
-Re-connected with Old Friends (I still have lots to visit with though :))
-I've stopped feeling angry that I have to share my family
-Have patience with my Family. Since the beginning of the summer has been so emotionally draining, I think I've started to appreciate how wonderful family can be :) It's still a work in progress haha.
-Get over the Past (amen.)
-Hang out with the Library girls! **although I plan to do it again!!**
-Read books that I WANT to read (YAY!)
-Do something spontaneous and Fun (The Library Girls Surprised me:))

There are still a few to be done though...
1) Make a new friend (ugh! This is harder then I thought it would be! haha)
2) Be completely content being single ALL summer! (Guess I can't really saw I've completed this until the end of the summer haha)
3) Make an effort to spend some time at the Cottage
4) Get to know my new dorm a little via facebook/email. (Waiting for my RA stuff to come!)
5) Visit the Springbrook House :)
6) Read the entire New Testament (working on it!)
7) Have a Killer Birthday! (only a Month away!)
8) Go on a boat ride
