There is something beautiful about a new year. I, and I'm sure many others, think of it as a brand new start. A new beginning, to do things that you were maybe freightened to do the previous year. I thought (even though it's already the 11th) that I would summarize 2007, to make way for this great beginning.
In 2007:
I lived away from my parents
I came close to failing a class (for the first time in my life)
I lived away from home for the summer, and took a crappy job...for the experience (really...crazy)
I got my heart broken..but somehow (and I still don't know how) survived it.
I loved
I took chances
I made so many new and amazing friends (the girls I live with, Peter (x2), Chris, Ben, Jaclyn, Cindy, Evan...to name a few :P)
I made really stupid mistakes, and put myslef in situations that I know I shouldn't have..and learned from it
I forgave
I went through really rough patches, but got through them.
I learned more about who I really am.
I hold no regrets.
These are just a few things that stand out in my mind about 2007. There was good, and of course, there was bad.
All in All...I have a feeling that 2008 is going to be an even better year. I believe it, because it already is.
