The Teeninga's come to South Korea!

I've been slacking a little in the blogging as of late, mostly due to the craziness that has happened! Parents+long weekends+school closing+packing+saying goodbye+moving+being in Vancouver=one busy busy Anna! SO there should be a few blogs coming along. Starting with my mom and dad's visit to South Korea!

For weeks I had been getting excited for Kristin that her parents were coming to Korea, and I'll admit...a little jealous! Little did I know, Kristin and my parents were scheming the whole time!

Two weeks ago (has it really just been two weeks...so much has happened), the kindy classes all went on a field trip to the zoo. Because of this I got to come into work late. Wednesdays are also my days with only one class, my favorite class, so it was looking like it was going to be a pretty good day!

Halfway through my class one of my boys was being really naughty. He had his 3 strikes, and although I hate sending kids out into the hall, it seemed I had no choice. So, I sent him into the hall. About a minute later my kids were all saying to me "teacher, teacher, look!" Thinking it was my student making funny faces through the window or something equally as disruptive, I spun around to get angry at him. Instead, I saw my parents both standing in the doorway smiling. Let's just say..I was VERY surprised! I gasped, dropped everything in my hands, hugged my mom, and started to cry. Byung Hyun said "teacher, happy tears, right!?" with a HUGE smile on his face. I love that kid.

My parents told me they'd be in Korea for a week, and that they were coming to Jeju with Kristin, her parents and I. Yay, a whole week to show them what my life in Korea is like!

Gotta love my parents!
