Everyone has "THOSE Days"....Right?

Oh come on. You know the ones I mean. The ones that start out fine, but somehow slowly get out of control and there doesn't seem to be anything you can do about it...yeah. Those days. Okay, I guess it wasn't that bad. But it's got to be relatively bad when your cutest student says, "Anna Teacher angry?" about 5 times throughout one class. I really don't like to be strict, but sometimes it's what's expected. boo.

I guess it was about time that I had a blog not full of rainbows and butterflies about my time here. Don't get me wrong, it's been amazing, and I'm so excited to be here and experiencing all these new things. But every once in a while it's not so amazing and I think, "I'm not a teacher, what the heck am I doing here? I don't belong here!" Thankfully I have some wonderful co-workers and friends to vent to, and they can usually help snap me out of my ridiculous fits of self-pity and make me realize we're all in the same boat, or have been.
I really do love my job. Most of the time. And I can hardly believe that I've been here almost two months! September in Korea is into full swing. FINALLY the weather has started to cool down a little, and the humidity isn't suffocating. I was even able to wear jeans today! My first time wearing jeans in Korea since my first day (when I found out that no...evenings in Korea are not like home, they are still ridiculously humid and 35 degrees). Kristin and I have also decided we are going to crack down on our laziness and start getting out and exploring more! We refuse to come back from Korea having slept in until 2pm every Saturday and having not done anything (don't get me wrong...I do LOVE sleeping in...). The rest of our September is already planned (thanks to Chuseok) and our October is starting to fill up as well!

I can't believe in just over a week I'm going to have 2 visitors! I'm so excited to show Tina and Calla around Daejeon. It should be an awesome week with them here!

Other then that...there really isn't too much exciting stuff going on here. It's really starting to become routine. The updates will continue to come though, of course.

Korean Moments:
Sadly, I'm at a loss! Keep watching for more craziness though.

Countdowns:
- Tina and Calla Visit: 9 Days
-NHL Season starts: 29 Days (Hello Sidney Crosby!)
