5 monthiversary

That's right friends. I've been here for 5 months now. Almost half a year! I still can't believe it. Tomorrow I have my Christmas presentation at school! I'm actually surprisingly nervous about it. I have to get up and introduce the class and say a little something. But at least most of the parents don't know a word of English, so that should take some of the pressure off! Janine (my co-teacher) and I have been working really hard with the kids, and I hope it shows tomorrow.

Other than that, things are just getting busier and busier here before Christmas! This coming weekend should be pretty jam-packed with Christmas celebrations, and then in 11 days....I'm hopping on a plane to sunny sunny Thailand.

This past weekend us SLP girls headed to Seoul for some retail-therapy. We all needed a little day trip out of Daejeon. Seoul in December easily rivaled Christmas season back home! It was insane! But a ton of fun as well. Favorite purchase of the day....a Phaneuf jersey for 35 bucks...definitely wouldn't find that in Canada!

After Seoul Kristin and I caught a bus to Cheong Ju to visit our lovely friends, and a lovely time it was :). We watched some Hockey, went to an "ethnic bar", and sipped delicious coffees in a loft in "Hi.Hello" coffee shop. A wonderful way to end our time together.

My electronics have been giving me quite the scare lately. First dropping my camera in the water, then on Saturday morning my computer refused to turn on! Sadly, I think my computer is on it's last legs. It did end up turning back on when I got home on Sunday night. Thank goodness!

Tonight I spent the night listening to Christmas music, sipping hot chocolate, and making paper snowflakes to decorate my windows with for our Christmas party this weekend. Can't wait!

I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas season as much as I am. All we need here now is some SNOW! (forget this rain! sheeesh)

Peace and Love.

I was too busy to be able to take any videos! But it was videotaped by the school, so maybe I can get a hold of a copy :)
