And it's December 1st! I honestly can't believe it's December already! It feels like it was just July, and I was nervously awaiting my flight in the Vancouver Airport. Now it's approaching Christmas and I'm amping myself up for my first Christmas spent away from my family. Our Christmas plans are all set and in order. In just 23 days Kristin, Jodi, Mary and Myself will be getting ready to head to Thailand for Christmas! I can't wait. The sun and a week away from Children sounds fantastic to me right now!
At school we're working hard on Christmas presentations. I constantly have "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Love" stuck in my head. Today as Jason and I were walking home from school we took the long way to pass a church which had a HUGE Christmas tree in it's courtyard. It made me soo excited. Other than the fact that it was 16 degrees out this afternoon (not that I'm complaining...that's amazing), it's really starting to feel like Christmas!
I also highly recommend Sufjan Stevens Christmas Albums. I've been listening to them as I get ready in the morning, and today I listened to them as I wrapped presents to send home. Ahh, Christmas is in the air.
One thing I DON'T like about this season is that I'm ALWAYS sick. I swear I have one of the worst immune systems in the world. People here are super nice though. I was buying (something...I can't say what because it might be for one of my readers), and the lady at a store I frequent gave me a free bottle of something and said "Cold...". Which I'm assuming means that it's for my cold. What a nice lady.
In other unrelated to Christmas news, this past Saturday I made my goal of 10Kms!! It felt SUUUPER good (although I was in pain for a while after...haha). But I'm happy I succeeded in my personally set goal :).
I hope you're all staying happy and warm wherever you are in the world.
Peace and Love.

Hi Anna:
I love reading your blog. It is the next best thing to being there. I am looking forward to seeing a clip of your children's presentation. So sorry you have a nasty cold. I think you and Grace should get together and share immune systems, that way she might get sick once in awhile but you wouldn't get as sick. Hope you get well soon. Praying for you always.
